Through the development, adoption, and rollout of this policy, the SaFE Project seeks to harmonize safeguarding efforts across all diocesan partners, promoting accountability, awareness, and training. By implementing this globally recognized framework, the project fosters a culture of safety, dignity, and respect, ensuring that everyone involved in Forum and its partners' activities is protected from harm and abuse.

Sajeevam Anti-Drug Campaign, Kerala

Kerala, which is known as ‘God’s own country’ has now become the most fertile land of drugs. Usage and spread of drugs are increasing rapidly in all parts of the state and this fact is reflected in the enhanced number of crimes reported in Kerala. The most terrible fact is that, children less than the age of 10 are also trapped in this threat. Also the trend shows that majority of users are now addicted to synthetic drugs which is highly dangerous.  SAJEEVAM– Anti-Drug abuse Campaign, Kerala is an initiative put forward by KCBC with the support of Caritas India and KSSF in collaboration with 32 diocesan societies of Kerala to tackle this dreaded issue.

We could conduct a large number of programs in the banner of Sajeevam by various DSSS including task force formation at DSSS level and Parish/grass rout level; and KSSF Coordinated some events. All the 32 DSSS collectively conducted 24 categories of programs which include awareness classes, street plays etc. In total, Sajeevam Campaign has reached a population of 22,52,940 in the month of August 2024; with 13,875 programs all over Kerala.

Regional Accompaniment Programme

The Regional Accompaniment Programme is designed to establish a comprehensive Strategic Plan for Forum and its 32 Diocesan Partners, providing a clear roadmap for carrying out the mission of social development. This program aims to strengthen collaboration among the diocesan partners by guiding them in aligning their goals, resources, and activities towards a unified vision of holistic development. Through participatory planning, capacity-building, and continuous support, the programme ensures that each diocese adopts best practices and tailored strategies that address the specific needs of their communities. By showcasing how social development efforts are effectively implemented, the Regional Accompaniment Programme fosters a cohesive, impactful, and sustainable approach to uplifting marginalized and vulnerable populations across the region.
